Most journeys begin in Dar es Salaam. From there, travelers reach the park by scenic flight or comfortable road transfer.
Upon arrival in the morning at Dar es Salaam Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your guide for a short safari briefing. Afterward, enjoy a scenic drive of approximately 5–6 hours heading to Nyerere National Park, formerly known as Selous. After check-in at the lodge, you’ll head out for a late afternoon game drive to get your first glimpse of the park’s abundant wildlife.
