5-Day Hidden-Gems Safari: Tarangire + Lake Manyara

Upon arrival at either Arusha or JRO airport, you will be warmly welcomed and driven through the city for a short highlights tour, giving you your first introduction to Tanzania’s vibrant atmosphere. After an early breakfast, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its spectacular baobab trees and huge elephant herds. Your full-day game drive will give you the chance to spot lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and many bird species. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch by the river, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. In the afternoon, continue your wildlife search and stop at Silale Swamp for stunning sunset photography opportunities. Afterward, return to the homestay for a relaxing dinner and evening rest.

Your morning begins with a guided community walk through banana plantations, wood-carving workshops, rice fields, and local farms where you can interact with villagers and learn about their daily activities.
